Pinterest: explicamos que es como coleccionar muchos
Tableros de Inspiración concentrados en un solo sitio, que pueden ser cambiados en cualquier momento y que puedes conservar tanto cuanto quieras.
También explicamos cómo puedes ver las fotos de tus seguidores así como las de todos, como encontrar videos, entradas populares y regalos; donde puedes ver cuántos seguidores tienes y cuantos sigues (como en Twitter) y donde encontrar los botones de “Agregar” e “Invitar Amigos”.

Yesterday we went through the basics of using
Pinterest; we explained that it’s like collecting a lot of
Inspiration Boards concentrated in one place, which can be changed anytime and that you can keep as long as you like.
We explained how you can see your follower’s pics as well as everybody’s, how to find videos, popular entries and gifts; where to see how many followers you have and how many you are following (as in Twitter) and where to find the Add button and the Invite Friends button.

This is how you're going to see your Followers.
El botón de “Agregar” es muy importante; con él vas a agregar fotos. Cuando lo presionas, te da tres opciones. Puedes Agregar una foto desde la red o Desde tu disco duro y Crear Tableros para colocar esas fotos.

The Add button is very important; it’s how you’re going to add pics. When you press it, it gives you three choices. You can Add a Pin from the web, Upload a Pin from your hard drive and Create Boards to place those pins.
Cuando estés Creando Tableros, Pinterest solamente te va a pedir el nombre y la categoría, así como si alguien más puede agregar fotos a ese Tableros o si solo tú lo puedes hacer. Presiona Crear Tablero y está listo.
Hay otra forma de crear un tablero; cuando estás guardando fotos, tienes que seleccionar un tablero para colocarlas. En ese momento puedes elegir colocarlas en uno de los tableros que ya tienes o crear uno nuevo, tal como explicamos arriba. Por favor recuerda siempre incluir un link o crédito en cada foto.

When Creating Boards, Pinterest is just going to ask you the name and category, and if somebody else can add pins to that board or if it’s just you. Press Create Board and you’re ready to go.
There’s another way to create a board; when you’re pinning, you have to select a board to place the pin. At that moment you can choose to place it in one of the boards you already have or create a new one, as explained above. Please always remember to include a link or credit to each pin.

Ahora, ¿cómo puedes usar Pinterest para beneficiar tu negocio? Recuerda que a Pinterest no le gusta mucho la “Promoción Personal”, así que no puedes incluir cada diseño que haces.

Now, how can you use Pinterest to benefit your business? Keep in mind that Pinterest doesn’t like Self Promotion very much, so you can’t pin every design you make.
- Primero recomendamos que uses mucho Pinterest y con frecuencia. Tu presencia se debe sentir en la página. De todas formas es bien divertido.
- Segundo, mantén tu marca en mente cuando colecciones fotos. Si todo lo que guardas es para adolescentes, lo más probable es que tus seguidoras sean adolescentes. Si vendes artículos de moda para mujeres de treinta y tantos años, trata de reunir fotos que pueden interesar a ese grupo en particular.
- Tercero, guarda algunas de tus creaciones o diseños de vez en cuando, pero sin exagerar. Nosotras tenemos 2399 fotos y solamente 23 son imágenes de nuestro blog.
Dato: Una forma de resolver esto es conseguir que algunas de tus amigas suban tus diseños mientras tú lo haces con los de ellas; de esta forma se verán tus artículos sin ir contra las reglas de Pinterest.

- First we recommend that you pin a lot and pin often. Your presence should be felt in the page. It’s a lot of fun anyway.
- Second, keep your brand in mind when pinning. If everything you pin is for teenagers, most likely your followers will be teenagers. If you sell fashion garments for women in their thirties, try to pin items that might interest that age group.
- Third, pin some of your crafts or designs once in a while but don’t overdo it. We have 2399 pins and only 23 are images from our blog.
Tip: A way to get around this is to get some of your friends to pin your designs while you pin theirs; this way you’ll get exposure without going against Pinterest rules.
