Háblanos un poco sobre ti.
Soy administradora, me dedico a diseñar bisutería desde hace 5 años, me encanta crear.

Tell us a little bit about you:
I’m an administrator and I have been designing jewelry for the last 5 years, I love to create.

¿Cómo empezaste a hacer tus piezas?
Empecé a crear piezas debido a un proceso de rehabilitación; hace cinco años tuve un accidente que ocasionó una fractura desplazada en el humero que afectó la mano izquierda donde me toco el nervio radial. Producto de este accidente comencé a realizar bisutería (macramé) etc. y ese fue mi comienzo.

How did you start making your designs?
I started out due to a rehabilitation process; five years ago I had an accident and had a fractured humerus which affected my left hand because if reached the radial nerve. Due to this accident I started making jewelry (macramé) etc. and that was the beginning.

Uso piedras, cueros, yute, hilo laminado, etc

I use gemstones, leather, jute, craft wire, etc.

Todos los colores me gustan

 I like all colors

Cuéntanos un poco sobre una pieza que hayas hecho recientemente y que te haya gustado de forma especial.
Uau, no sé, realmente cuando hago algo y lo presento es porque me gusta, pero siempre hay piezas que te gustan más.

Tell us a little bit about a recently made design which you have specially liked.
Wow, I don’t know; to tell the truth when I make something and present it it’s because I like it, but there are always designs that you like better.

Las páginas están llenas con miles de instructivos gratis sobre cómo hacer joyería, técnicas, diseños, datos, lo que quieras… Rena generosamente comparte trucos y secretos sobre diseño de joyería hecha a mano, información sobre proveedores y herramientas, cualquier cosa que puedas necesitar para tu hobby o negocio y mucho, mucho más.

We have good news people!

So, we found out about Rena Klingender‘s web page called Making Jewelry Now. It is amazing!  

Rena is a jewelry artist, author, and publisher of information on making and selling jewelry. Besides making and selling her own creations, she also started a website called The Home Jewelry Business Success Tips, which has more than 1000 pages of free information for jewelry makers.

These pages are full with thousands of free jewelry making tutorials, techniques, designs, tips, you name it… Rena generously shares tricks and secrets of handmade jewelry designs, information of suppliers and tools, anything you might need for your hobby or your business and much, much more.

And, as if that wasn’t enough, Rena also has a whole section where she invites you to share your projects and creations, publishing your designs in their entire splendor. There are beautiful designs everywhere, you have to go and see. Go now, don't wait anymore!

Solo Para Ellas - Only For Them

A estas alturas ya nos imaginabamos que las pobrecitas a las que no les gustan las Flores y las Mariposas (que raras, ¿no?) habían salido corriendo espavoridas gritando "¡No más! ¡Por favor no más"!

Para ellas y solo para ellas tenemos esto. Para que regresen (por favorcito, ¡regresen!).

At this point we could imagine the poor girls that don't like Flowers and Butterflies (strange, huh?) running away, screaming "No more! Please, no more!".

For them and only for them we have these. Please come back (pretty please, come back!).



 

Supongo Que Estamos Obsesionadas - I Guess We're Obsessed

... Y quisimos incluir unas Florecitas y Maripositas también, solo por no dejar...

Llévate Mi Corazón - Take Away My Heart

¿Adivinen qué? No nos podimos mantener alejadas de los corazones...

Entonces diseñamos de todo con corazones! ¿Que otra cosa podíamos hacer?
Nada, ¿verdad?

So, guess what? We couldn't stay away from hearts.

So we designed all sorts of things with hearts! ¿What else could we do?
Nothing, right?

Son piezas únicas hechas en Enchapado en Plata y Oro, con piedras semipreciosas y cristales de varios tipos. Para todos los gustos.

They are one of a kind pieces, Silver-Plated and Gold-Plated, with semi-precious stones and various crystals. There is one to suit every taste.

Nuestros Jardines Especiales - Our Special Gardens

Pensando en lo que nos inspiraba un sentimiento de paz y serenidad, se nos ocurrió un tema adicional: Jardines.

Entonces diseñamos piezas inspiradas en un Jardín lleno de Sol, Flores, Búhos, Mariposas, Mariquitas, Insectos y colores alegres, combinados con Cristales Swarovsky y Checos multicolores y brillantes y montados en plata.

Brainstorming over what inspired us a feeling of peace and serenity, we came up with an additional theme: Gardens.

So, we designed pieces inspired in a Garden with the Sun shining bright, Flowers and Owls, Butterflies, Ladybugs and Bugs, in bright colors, combined with multicolored Swarovski and Czech crystals and assembled in silver.

No hay nada como pasar el día en un jardín florido para hacernos sentir serenas y alegres.  Y encajaba dentro de nuestro tema principal: Positivo, siempre POSITIVO.

There is nothing like spending a day at a garden full of flowers and plants, to make us feel serene and cheery. And it fit in our main theme: Positive, always POSITIVE.

 

Y hasta logramos incluir algunos corazones otra vez ¿qué tal? J

Explosión De Amuletos - Explosion Of Lucky Charms

Cuando percibimos el éxito que tenían los Amuletos teníamos tantas ideas que la mayor dificultad era decidir cual escoger. Diseñamos por lo menos una docena de modelos diferentes hasta que llegamos a estos: Semanarios.

When we realized how successful the Lucky Charms were, we had so many ideas that our biggest problem was which to choose. We designed at least a dozen different models until we came up with these: Bangles.

Tenían que cumplir tres condiciones: Estar llenos de Amuletos Positivos, que cada modelo fuese original y que TODOS fuesen impactantes.

They had to fulfill three conditions: Have many Positive Lucky Charms, each one had to be an original model and ALL had to cause impact.

Semanarios en plata, muchos Ojos Turcos –se cree que absorben las malas energías y protegen de todo mal- y una gran cantidad de símbolos Feng Sui, cada uno con un significado diferente.

Silver bangles, lots of Turkish Evil Eyes -which are believed to absorb all bad energies and protect from all evil- and a myriad  of Feng Shui symbols, each with a different meaning.

Símbolos de Paz, Monedas Chinas para la Fortuna, Manos de Fátima para Protección, Herraduras, Tréboles y Elefantes con la trompa levantada para la Suerte, Árboles del Destino, Cerezas para la Abundancia, Tortugas para Sabiduría, Budas para la Serenidad y muchos más.

Todos intercalados con Mariposas, Corazones y Libélulas que representan a la Naturaleza y Cristales Swarovsky y Checos multicolores.

Peace symbols, Chinese Coins representing Good Fortune, Jamsas for Protection, Horseshoes, Cloverleaves and Elephants with their trunk pointing up for Good Luck, Destiny Trees, Cherries representing Abundance, Turtles for Wisdom, Buddhas for Serenity and many more.

All intertwined with Butterflies, Hearts and Dragonflies representing Nature, and Swarovski and Czech Crystals in many different colors.

Como en los diseños anteriores, la versatilidad también era importante. Vienen en juegos de 3 pulseras pero por supuesto que se pueden combinar unas con otras, a gusto.

As in the previous designs, versatility was also important, They come in sets of 3 bangles each, but of course, can be combined as you wish. .

Modestia aparte, nos encantan estos modelos. ¿Están de acuerdo?
