Fueron un tremendo éxito en los años 70 y ahora están de regreso.
La moda es cíclica, así que no es raro que estas piezas tan sexys, hermosas y cómodas estén de moda otra vez.
Úsalas sobre el traje de baño, para salir, hasta para una fiesta con los accesorios adecuados. Pero asegúrate de tener por lo menos uno en tu guardarropa para estar a tono con la última tendencia.
Nos gustan especialmente los modelos de Camila Franks, por la originalidad y colorido de sus modelos.

Fashion is cyclic, so it’s not strange that these sexy, beautiful and comfortable designs are the trend once again.
Use them over a swimsuit, to go out, even at a party with the right accessories. But make sure you have at least one in your wardrobe to be up to date with the latest trend.

Color, Color Y Flores - Color, Color And Flowers
Nuestra amiga Gladys es un poco tímida (es broma) así que quería posar de incógnito con su nueva pulsera.
Terminamos con unas fotos algo temblorosas de su pulsera, disculpen eso.
Sin embargo, siendo como es una creadora de tendencias -de verdad- fíjense que combinó su colorida pulsera con otra gran tendencia: una túnica con patrón floral, igualmente colorida. ¡Qué bien!

Our friend Gladys is a bit shy (snort) so she wanted to pose incognito with her new bracelet.
We ended up with two shaky phone photos of her bracelet, sorry about that.
However, being the fashion trend setter she is –true- notice that she combined her colorful bracelet with another strong trend: an equally colorful flower pattern tunic. Great!

Algunas de nuestras amigas nos preguntaron por qué llamamos a nuestras colecciones Boho Urbano y Boho Chic. Piensan que los diseños “son lindísimos” pero que no son realmente urbanos o chic, "son casuales".

En nuestra opinión Boho o Bohemio no es necesariamente Hippy o estilo Gitano, si bien es cierto que son similares y eso puede ser lo que nuestras amigas tienen en mente. ¿Alguna vez te ha ocurrido que cuando alguien ve el símbolo de la Paz le llaman “el símbolo hippy”?
Las piezas en cuero (solo usamos semi-cuero) y las piedras semi-preciosas son la última tendencia por aquí y en un país con sol durante todo el año (tenemos suerte, ¿no?) los colores fuertes y vibrantes son parte del día a día.

In our opinion Boho or Bohemian is not necessarily a Hippy or Gipsy style, although they are similar, which may be what our friends have in mind. Has it ever happened to you that when someone sees the peace symbol they call it “the hippy sign”?
Leather (we only use faux leather) and semi-precious gemstones are a huge trend around here, and in a sunny country all year around (lucky us, right?), bright and vibrant colors are part of everyday life.

Nuestra corresponsal en Lisboa, Cristina, sigue pasándola bien y envíanos fotos con las tendencias que se pueden ver por allá.
Puedes ver las primeras que nos envió aquí, y las segundas aquí. Hay algo de diferencia en lo que respecta a la ropa así que ve a echar una miradita primero.

Our correspondent in Lisbon, Cristina, continues to have a great time and sending photos of trends going on over there.
You can see the first batch she sent here, and the second right here. There’s a bit of a difference clothes wise so go and take a quick look.

Primero que todo, joyas magnificas en todas partes. Disculpa la calidad de las fotos pero fueron tomadas con el celular, creo que le tenemos que enviar mejor equipo (es chiste Cristina, no te entusiasmes!). De todas formas creo que todavía podemos ver algunos diseños absolutamente impactantes.

First of all, stunning jewelry everywhere. Sorry for the quality of the photos they were shot with her phone, I guess we’ll have to send her better equipment (just joking Cristina, don’t get your hopes up!) We can still see some pretty amazing designs, though.
En cuanto a la ropa, se puede ver claramente una tendencia hacia el uso de colores más oscuros como en estos bellos marrones y rosados, así como líneas más sencillas; me encanta el vestido del medio.
Aunque todavía es verano, creo que está deseando que llegue el otoño. Y rápido, porque el calor es tanto –40 grados algunos días- que todo el mundo está deseando que lleguen días más frescos.

Moving on to the clothes, I can clearly see a tendency to the use of darker colors like these beautiful browns and rose tones and very simple lines, just love the dress in the middle.
Even though it’s still summer, it seems to me as if they’re longing for fall to come. And fast, because the heat is so extreme -40 degrees some days- that everybody is kind of wishing for cooler days.

Teníamos planificado hacer 10 cosas diferentes solo esta mañana, pero como está lloviendo tanto, parece ser que hay problemas de tráfico por todas partes. Un sábado (suspiro).
Así que hay un cambio de planes: decidimos quedarnos y trabajar en casa, porque siempre hay algo que hacer.
Y pensando en ustedes, aprovechamos para publicar una imagen especial para las chicas más audaces.
Una combinación de texturas y colores que quedan magnificas sobre una túnica blanca de tela de algodón, logrando una imagen bohemia y vanguardista. O una blusa o camisa más formal para crear impacto. O una simple franela para usar con jeans y las modernas sandalias de colores fuertes que se están usando tanto.
En fin, para usar como quieras, solo tienes que tener la actitud que es lo que realmente cuenta.

So, there’s a change of plans: we decided to stay home and work because there’s always something to do.
