This is a different kind of post today. Over at Down To Earth they have a Friday photo feature that everybody can take part in. So we are.

We chose this beautiful photo of a bracelet whose meaning needs no explanation. “On My Mind” is love and affection and all kind gestures our friends have had towards us. All the lovely remarks and praise, so generously and selfishly given, which have been the encouragement and strength that have helped maintain our enthusiasm. To all of them, our huge thank you and we love having you around.

Pero un hecho permanece: ¡Las combinaciones son EL accesorio!

Son interesantes visualmente y una magnifica forma de mejorar un look. Muestras tu creatividad e individualidad y haces una declaración de estilo cuando usas diferentes combinaciones. No hay límite para lo que puedes usar y/o mezclar, más que tu gusto personal.

These last few days we’ve been talking a lot about layering bracelets.

There is a huge trend right now, some people mixing completely different styles, other using them with a little more moderation.

But the fact remains that layering is THE accessory!

It's visually interesting, a great way to dress up an outfit and show off your creativity and individuality, and you’re making a statement about your style while using different combinations. There is no limit to what you can wear and/or mix, other than your personal taste.

So, we have a few suggestions for you, starting out with dainty Czech crystal and gold plated, colorful designs…

Hola a todas, ¿cómo estuvo su fin de semana?

Para (casi) terminar nuestras entradas sobre Cloisonné, hoy estamos mostrando tres diseños diferentes que demuestran la versatilidad de estas cuentas. Si bien son muy conocidas, siempre hay una forma diferente de combinar y usarlas para crear lindas piezas. Podemos comprobarlo, solo miren las fotos. Éstas también, y éstas.

Y decimos para “casi” terminar nuestras publicaciones sobre Cloisonné porque dentro de poco tendremos unas bellas fotos de pulseras combinadas (¡Ups! Se nos escapó el secreto) que incluyen Cloisonné entre otros estilos.

A estas alturas probablemente ya sabrás que cuando empezamos con un tema, éste nos atrapa y nos cuesta dejarlo. J

Hi everybody how was your weekend?

To (almost) end our entries about Cloisonne we’re publishing three different designs today that show the versatility of these beads. Although very well known, there’s always a different way to style and use them to create lovely pieces. We can prove it; just look at the photos. And these, and these.

And we say “almost” end our Cloisonee entries, because in a future post we’re going to have some lovely photos of bracelet layering (Ups! The secret is out!) that include Cloisonee, among other styles.

By now you probably know that once we start with a theme it sort of grows on us and we get somewhat attached. J
